From 1928-1998 we were known as the Mount Kisco Lions Volunteer Ambulance Corps, enjoying a successful partnership with the Mount Kisco Lion's Club for 70 years. We incorporated in 1998 as the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc., primarily due to the ever-increasing costs associated with running the Corps and the necessity to begin utilizing revenue recovery to fund our operations.
The Lion's Club showed great foresight and initiative in 1928 to begin a volunteer ambulance corps in the community, being the first agency in Westchester County to do so. Without the guidance and support of the Lion's Club from the inception of the Corps, we would not be the successful EMS agency that we are today. We thank them for their continued support!
The Corps has had many leaders throughout the years, with the operational aspect being led by the Captain. The women and men listed below ensured that we met our mission to provide the best emergency medical care to our community. We applaud their efforts and dedication to ensure the smooth operation of the Corps!
