Do you enjoy helping your community?  Are you interested in receiving medical training to help others and possibly even save a life?  Then join the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps!  We are always looking for new members to join us. 

Who can Join? 

Anyone 15 years or older can join. We have a Jr Corp program for people age 15-18. Then once you become 18 you will become Sr. Corp. 

Do I have to have background knowledge in EMS? 

This answer is simple no you don't! We provide all the training that you would need to be a member. Whether you choose to be a EMT, Crew or Driver we provide the training for you. 

Is there a time commitment? 

All members are required to ride 12 hours a week and attend our monthly meetings and trainings. We are very flexible about your shifts and will work with you to come up with a schedule that fits your life. 

What can I do as a member? 

There are many things that you could do as a member. We have different ranks that you could choose to apply for. One of them being an associate member. An associate member doesn't ride the ambulance but helps out around the building by picking up committees and lending a supportive hand. Another rank is a riding member. A riding member is broken up into 3 different sections. You could be a driver, EMT or a crew member.  A driver makes sure that his or her crew and patient gets to and from the call safely. A EMT takes care of the patient. The Crew member assists the EMT in helping take care of the patient.

You can either download the application here or we can mail you a copy. Fill out the application for either Junior Corps. (15-18 years old) or Senior Corps. and your references and send them back to the membership committee.
